AIMS

The Redlands Sailing programme aims to:

Provide a world-class, co-educational training facility by the sea

Provide the co-ordination and training to meet the needs of all students by:

* teaching boating safety and basic boating skills

* giving students a broad grounding in competitive sailing

Encourage young sailors to represent their school, State or Nation

Instil in it's students the highest possible standards of fair play and sportsmanship

Make provision for qualified students to be trained as coaches

Foster a respect for the elements, an affinity with the oceans and an appreciation of the environment

The Redlands Sailing Programme believes that:

Sailing is gender equal

Sailing tuition should be fun, build confidence and encourage leadership skills
